Thanks for the link fyrboy.
I have a 1967, COE 9500, Ladder/Pumper that I bought 2 years ago that was still in service.
I'll be checking out that site as time permits.
It would be cool to see a topic on GMC fire equipment on this new site.

Not sure if its OK to talk about pre-6066 GMC's on this board, but since we are talking about firetrucks I can't resist - here's a shot of my 1956 GMC 370 w/ factory Pontiac 316 V8 getting loaded in Batavia OH last week for the trip to Sweet Home Alabama....I have only had it for a week or so and have not had time to take other pics yet. She is 100% original, runs and drives and has 29,000 original untouched miles on her. Too bad the fire dept kept it about 10 yrs outside in the weather and let it lose all its paint shine and develop surface rust here and there but its all there and everything works, so a cool addition to my GMC fleet....

Man that GMC had a flat nose back then. It looks really aggressive. id hate to see that in the rear view mirror it'd scare me to death lol!

That thing is pretty darn cool.
I brought home a 58 370 series truck last month.
Gotta agree with Fetch.....that grill has everything but teeth.
You can imagine the view out my back window on the return trip from Bend.

Here's my Fire/Rescue Truck that I recently purchased. It's a 56 Chevy 1 ton Panel.
