no the magnum and E engines are larger port intake and exhaust, luckily my old intake gaskets are intact will maybe ill have to copy them make my own

I have a 401M and have have had the intake off, 305 Gaskets fit fine on the intake side. Also had a full set of 305 Gaskets and a full set of 401 Magnum Gaskets there was No difference on the intake side either on the motor or the gasket sets. Exhaust was much bigger on the Magnun. Dave

they are different as you can in these pictures, the 305 may work but not right and may cause Intake leak luckily my old gaskets may still be usable

this is my 351E which is the same as the 351M and 401M with the larger ports on both the manifold and head, someone put a 305 small port intake this engine at one time if look close at my pictures you can see it was sealed correctly

I looked them up, but they have nothing in their catalog for 1960+ GMC truck specific engines. They can hand cut custom gaskets, but only paper/felt/etc, no head gaskets or anything with rolled metal sealing areas.

I have had some good luck with http://www.gasketstogo.com on Custom Suzuki 4 cylinder motorcycle & VW 4 cylinder IDI diesel MLS head gaskets in Multi-Layer Steel gaskets. They can custom make about anything. Sending a proper CAD drawing is best. We had some alignment issues on one batch of Suzuki GS650 custom big bore gaskets, but when a CAD drawing was sent for the re-make in lieu of a gasket scan or used gasket sample, all came out well.

Re: V6 Magnum Gaskets

If I recall, someone on this forum has CAD drawings of many of our big block V6 gaskets already made up.

Cutting paper/felt/neoprene/viton/etc isnt too difficult. The rubbery materials are a bit tougher. A set of hole punch pliers or hollow point punches really help.

Felpro 305 intake Gaskets will work fine on a magnum motor. Surface the exhaust manifolds on a belt sander surface machine and don't use Gaskets on them and your in business. Don't over complicate, that is my experience. Dave

Re: V6 Magnum Gaskets

your probably right, but what is the point of the larger free flowing intake manifold if it blocked by 1/2 inch hanging in gasket material from the smaller gaskets
