351 Crank pulley question
Does a 351 crank pulley just unbolt from balancer like a 305? No need to pull balancer off?

Re: 351 Crank pulley question
hello - 305 and 351 engines doesn't have a balancer up front on the crankshaft - the bolt you see just screws in the crank end and holds the pulley hub on -just unbolt and the hub should pull right off - it's on a keyway:thumbsup:

Re: 351 Crank pulley question
Agreed no balancer, just a hub I guess, But I have 6 bolts surrounding the big bolt. I have already taken off once but forget. Take off big bolt AND the 6 bolts? Does it matter if one groove or two groove pulley?

Re: 351 Crank pulley question
Morning - doesn't matter how many groove pulley it is - the 6 bolts are unevenly spaced so the pulley only fits the hub one way - I found it easier to remove the pulley or pulleys and then loosen/remove the big bolt that holds the hub on - should pull off easy.:goodluck:
