Do you have two arms coming off the column? one is 1st-rev the other is for 2-3

If you have done a honest search for the piece and ended up with nothing - my next course of action would be to use the old one as a pattern and fab a replacement from a piece of flat stock steel - if you aren't able to do it yourself there should be a machine shop that could easily. Sometimes what looks the hardest is the easiest solution. Instead of looking for a used one - build one.

Yes, there is two rods as you say, one of them being longer than the other. So one goes directly to the Shifting arm on the transmission the short rod is the one connecting to a lever. that is the part that is broken and having a difficult time finding it anywhere.

Will continue to look.

I been looking for this part for two weeks and nothing, I am going to give it one more week. There Are a couple of junk yards in Los Angeles that I am going to try, will see what happens. Unfortunately, I do not have the equipment to make one myself, so I will look for a machine shop to make one. Thank you for your advice.

Reading similar threads on other forums about grommets and bushings listed these numbers

And hoping the diagram helps to pinpoint the broken piece

Shiftworks has Universal Linkage Grommets and the whole Rod Swivel Kits for shift linkages.

From your post wording could the broken arm be off from the side of the transmission directly behind or in front of of the control rod that is still connected to the transmission? Sounds like the arm somehow got broken off the transmission stub shaft that controls one of forks . Seen these broke/bent/missing when looking at used transmissions - getting broke probably came from transmission being rough handled at some point. My guess would be finding any 3 speed transmission of the same model at a salvage yard and compare - doesn't need to be a GMC - try a Chevy car/pickup.
