Ignition switch for 66 gmc 1500
 

It was bound to happen sooner or later, just sooner than I hoped. The key cylinder was in bad shape when I got the truck and finally bit the dust. I was able to get a key in it, sort of and start it, now it will not start and have to hold tongue to left while raising right foot to get it to come on at all. Does anyone have a line on an ignition switch and cylinder for my '66. I have looked until cross eyed at different models but would like to get the correct one the first time. Thanks in advance for any help.

Google this number 1116639 and see if this looks like your switch .
EBay has them, some with cylinder some without. The 67 P/N 1116688
