Hi all
I got this 1966 s/w in Oklahoma just to haul off. its suppose
have run last year. after the 1st of the year I'm going to
apply for a texas bonded title, since all I have is a bill of
sale. then after I am done with the project I have going
now, I will start on it, that's when I will have a lot of questions

Nice find! Looks pretty straight and rust-free. Is that a 305 or a 351?

Besides the number stamped on top of the block in front of the passenger side cylinder head (which oftentimes is obscured by paint or grime), a quick way to tell is by the bolt pattern at the base of the carburetor. If it's rectangular, it's probably a 305. If it's trapezoidal, it's probably a 351.

Judging by the exhaust manifolds and the ww carb it's appears to be a 305.
