That isa very impressive locomotive restoration.
Near here ( in Snoqualmie, WA) is a railroad museum with a huge amount of old stuff, but it is mainly old stuff that is sitting outdoors.
I have not spent any time there in many years, so I have no idea what they may currently have for show pieces.
In past years (pre-covid) they ran a Christmas steam train from the town of Snoqualmie to North Bend and back , probably not much more than eight miles round trip.

Thanks. We have a huge amount of old stuff out back as well, and it's always hard to decide what the next project will be. You have to look at how bad it is, what parts are needed, time and cost, ect.. Since that SW1 we have been working on a Fairbanks-Morse, which has a real oddball opposed piston 2 stroke diesel engine. It's getting there!
