Thanks all for the info/ support. Ended up getting the old clutch rebuilt. Cost an arm and leg but it is more in keeping her original so I’m ok with it. I did notice my fork has a Chevy emblem on it. I suspect someone was in there before? Or was it common for Gmc/Chevy to use some of the same components? They are basically the same truck but was surprised to find a Chevy embossment.

A heads up for anyone looking for front 4x4 brake lines. Found them from Napa. Shoulder diameter is about about 1/32nd to large to pass through the frame. Plenty of thread length to pack out with a washer or I may have it machined down. Either way it’s more or less bolt on. See pic for part numbers.

Anyone know what to torque the cab mount bolts to. I’ve read everything from 80-130 ft-lbs. while we are on the topic any ideas of motor and trans mounts?

You didnt use youtube tags. You put youtube open and close tags around it and just use the movie link code. Like this but you use brackets on all of the youtube parts. Here I used a curly bracket on the end of the first "youtube" to make it show up as code instead of the movie.

Code:

Few updates. Pulled the rear end apart. Axel seals were leaking. Fashioned a scrapper out of an old washer and piece of all-thread to clean out the axel tube. And made an extended straw for the brake cleaner with some electrical heat shrink. Dropped one side to keep everything flowing out the wheel side then dropped the other and repeated the process. Lightly greased the inside of the tube and axels. Replaced the bearings while I was in there even though they seemed to be in decent working condition. Any recommendations of what gear lube to use? Lots of opinions out there.
While waiting for parts I put some dynamat down. Hope it was worth the cost/effort. Dynaliner then rough in floor mats next time I’m in a holding pattern. Had to have the radiator recored $$$. Pulling apart the front axel next for paint. Seals and all should be good. Did them a couple years back.
