Power Steering pump ID

3 Attachment(s)
Looking to rebuild/replace the PS pump on my 64 305E but can't seem to identify it. Anybody recognize the attached pics? The only tag I can find is a reman tag...
Any help is appreciated. Open to suggestions as well!

Saginaw and yes try a rebuild with Tutorials on YouTube. (*)

Another other source for information is CPP:

* Regarding the rebuild kit from RockAuto, I found this old post from the other truck forum. It's an "old post" and said that the style of pump is from a medium duty truck but was used in the Light duty applications. It states the rebuild kits are NOT for that style of pump.

Quote:

That would be great Bob, because I just received the rebuild kits from rock auto and they are both for the smaller saginaw pumps. So to recap, guys wanting power steering seal kits for the pumps for GMC Rock auto has sourced the wrong seal kits from all the vendors they are for the small pumps not for the GMC medium duty pumps found on at least 1/2 ton GMCs with 305 V6 engines. I have my brackets off, glass beaded and painted so if someone wants pictures and measurements, now is the time.

Bob Bray is the one mentioned in that post and he is on this forum so hopefully he may chime in.

No, I think the guy on that post was Bob S, and I have not seen him around lately. That pump appears to be the medium duty style.
