1960-61 options
Ok, I'm fairly new to these trucks but have been researching and looking for a runner for a couple years on and off and I have a few questions. I have reprints of the '60-'61 brochures which I would have thought covered all available options and accessories for the 1000/1500's and I've been all over Jolly's site but can find no info on power steering, power brakes, A/C. and such.
From the sales brochure it appears the only choices one had with a 1000 were:
Bed size and style
Deluxe or Custom
Standard axle or Power-lok each with two different ratios
10 1/2" or 11" clutch
30amp/hr or 35/50amp/hr generator
governor
oil filter
SM-318 3 speed synchromesh
177ca Hydra-Matic 4 speed
SM-420 4 speed synchromesh
Directional signals
Now, I know there were options and accessories, heck the brochure doesn't even show what colors were available! Where can I find all this info? Is it all in a separate GMC brochure?
