Valve lash is simply the clearance between the underside of the rocker arm and the top of the valve stem. To adjust, get the engine warmed up, take the valve covers off, get a wrench to fit the adjusting nuts on top of the rocker arms, and you'll need a feeler gauge. Ok, I may need my father in law to help, but I think I get it actually, I have a feeler gauge, but what difference between the intake valve and the exhaust. Sorry, I appreciate the lesson.
