Off topic but I just watched Lethal Weapon (1987) with my oldest kid. I remember it being a totally awesome movie that really blew me away. Watching now, the old outfits, 80's hair, and crappy "Ow, I'm shot!" grab-your-chest-with-no-blood supporting actors really are distracting. Gibson is still pretty good, and some of the 1 liners are delivered with style, but it ain't what memory said it was. Maybe it's time for a remake?
