			Don’t know much about the 478, but I’ve removed a few 351s from grain trucks out here and they’ve all been running the NP540 (no overdrives) and 1 1/8” 10 spline inputs in the standard style bell housings.  I’m sure they’d handle the power of 478 but only have 1:1 final gear.
