That’s the same inline unit I installed on my ‘62 305 with stock carb. It’s been working great! I installed it on the passenger frame near the gas tank (which I still have behind the seat), so the tank is much higher than the pump.

Only regret I have, I wished I would have installed that pump many years ago. The engine lights off quick like a new one and I no longer have to replace the mechanical pump when on roads trips due to diaphragm failure.
