The proper carb nwould be the STROMBERG WWC model with trapezoid base, TransDapt used top make the HOLLEY 500 ADAPTER part no. 2140 long discontinued. I have myself built over 2 dozen adapters like this for members in the past. Make sure you have the correct intake manifold, sometimes during carb changes intakes have been changed to the smaller port design with the more conventional base 2bbl base.
