Smile Re: Restore recreate create plaid valve covers

I have mixed emotions about this. On one hand, I love to see quality reproduction of sometimes called "rare" items because that assists all of us in re-creating the past accurately. On the other hand, I kind of like knowing that all the Plaid Valve covers remaining on the earth today are 100% part of the only run of them that was ever made - every set you see are originals and with the low number produced, considered to be a rarity in GM history.

So, if you can get a heat resistant wrap reproduced to match the originals, I think that is very cool, but if you can't that might actually be even better
