Here is the answer about those two other bolts from the archives

There should be 4 bolts holding the transmission to the bell housing. All 4 on any of my vehicles have been accessible.
The only "hidden" bolts are the two holding the bell housing to the engine (inside the bell, under the flywheel).

Some suggest to remove the front clip for easier access as the V6 is a tall engine. I have only done that on a 70 GMC (w/ a small block) and it makes it easier to detail and clean.
