Default Re: Tranny swap

Because I'm putting the 700R and my truck was not setup with one by the OEM, I have to install a new overdrive spring and TV cable plate. Bowtie OD make a easy to install kit including the spring, the carb base plate and the TV cable. The issues I'll have is AFTER I install everything, add the trans fluid, shift linkage, dip stick/filler tube, etc. I'll have to have her towed back to the trans shop for them to speck in the shifting times so I don't cause any damage to the trans.

I've never done this before, so it going slow.
