I got a good deal on 2000 Chevy 40/20/40 seat with the shoulder belts...to make my spouse happy with the little riding in the truck. Happy wife, happy life!

I'm obviously going to be drilling some holes, but would like to tap into the expertise here before diving in. Besides it's raining.

pros: comfortable, integral seat belts and shoulder harness

cons: seat backs are very thick, if you are like me and have a little belly it takes up too much room,

my decision: move the fuel tank out, add a tilt wheel, relocate the seat base 1.5" to the rear. In the future install a set of belts with shoulder harness. (there are threads on how to do this on the 67-72 forum........it involves reinforcing the rear of the cab (upper corner ) with heavy material then installing the shoulder strap by bolting it to the cab..........

this way the truck looks more original.....JMO Kieth
