As you may have guessed, the majority of forum members here are fans of the V6, and prefer to discourage the all-too-common V8 swaps. That being said, how do you know the V6 requires rebuilding? These are very durable engines, able to go over 500,000 miles without a rebuild, provided they receive proper care. And proper care is simple -- never over-revving them, and changing the oil often enough.
I'm sure most of us here hope you can get that V6 reinstalled and running again.
