Thanks for the update James. I did move the distributor to the manifold vacuum. I think it just has constant vac now when driving. Did okay hauling tractors yesterday...
I'll move it back to the carburetor. That port on the back of the Stromberg had no vacuum at idle so I'll have to check and see if it does when throttled like you said.
