I have read that page a few times actually, the main issues that I find are the ford np435 claims a 1 1/16" shaft and mine measures 1 1/8". Also under the GM /Chevrolet version it states "None of the GM NP435's are compatible with our adapter assemblies." making me think it has a different bolt pattern, given the photo of the bellhousing from your 2nd link and my own bellhousing, I think that bottom right bolt is different at least.
I see now that it says you can drill the hole to match, sorry I missed that before.
