Default So how the heck do you guys get these starters off!!???!!

My 64's 305 v6 has a 2 bolt starter...one on the bottom...super easy to get to, and one on the top....PAIN IN THE REAR! Maybe its cause its Friday and I'm tired.....But I had to take a 5/8 short socket, a swivel, and Two Long extensions, and a ratchet because the darn exhaust manifold was in the way! So this is my rant and rave because my 6 cylinder spoils me. It took me 20 minutes to get this starter off and on my 6 cylinders it took me 5. Now when I get my new starter I have to figure out how to get the darn top bolt back in!!! Course maybe things will be a Tad bit better when the exhaust manifolds aren't hot. lol Help would be cool!
