Default Aftermarket Power booster with M/C

I purchased a new aftermarket brake power booster with master cylinder and proportioning valve. My 1966 1500 pickup had factory power brakes but I wanted a dual reservoir m/c. the stock mount has an aluminum bracket that attaches to the firewall but has about a 15 degree angle to angle the power booster & master cylinder to clear the large valve covers of the V-6. The offset bracket then attaches to the aluminum bracket. the new aftermarket power booster doesn't mount cleanly to the bracket. What have others done with this type of setup to get it all to work? I would like to have the power booster mounted straight not angles as there would be plenty of room to the valve cover. Any thoughts?
