Looks like someone Chevied this poor old GMC! Any thoughts of going back to the original Pontiac V8?

As a city owned truck I'm certain the 344 was "idled to death". They installed the crate motor sometime in the early seventies. It seems to run as it should and since I'll put it to work, I'm pleased with the 350. Only thing that could make me happier would be a big six.
