Good idea about bulbs. A bad bulb can do some tricky things as James said.
I think I would check the headlight switch and it's associated fuse(s). Check all the fuses.
Try to figure out if it's a central distribution problem or coincidental separate issues.

Central distribution:
1. Headlight switch
2. Turn signal switch
3. Ignition switch
4. Battery/alternator. Including cleaning positive and negative posts and clamps.
5. Power to fuse panel/other main power feeds
6. GROUNDS! Battery post ground to motor. Motor to cab. Cab to frame. Grounds at bulb sockets.

You will definitely have to play with it and see if you can get anything to react. Trace the power with an ice pick tester and install some temporary ground jumpers here and there.
