Default Re: 1963 Suburban brake power cylinder malfunbcrion
advised however, I am not familiar with the word "malfunbcrion"
So my inspection mechanic and I misunderstood each other over the phone. The power brake booster unit is vacuum assist, and is mounted on the firewall. IT was a vacuum leak from that that was detected. According to the manual, it is a "Hy Power" unit, apparently made by Delco. Anyone familiar with the unit, and rebuilding prospects? The vehicle stops with significant leg pressure but I'd like to see it returned to designed level of function.
