Hi all. I just bought a 1960 1500. All original except for the carb I was told. This is my first vintage GMC and I specifically sought out a 1960-61 as I love the look of the hood. I did not know anything was special about the 305 engine until doing some research. She drives great, is a tad hard starting, needs very minor rust work (bottom of front fenders and driverside under door rocker and that is all), and a bed kit plus a few odds and ends. Wish she was a different color but I only had to travel 5 miles to buy so can't complain too much.
