I have been following this thread and would like to usurp some advice while on this topic...I have a Dana60 rear end as well with the 4.10 gears...I recently bought a 72 Chevy 3/4 ton Dana rear with 3.54 gears I want to use...the brakes are larger as are the lugs...does anyone have any experience or advice for or against this swap (other than the "all original" argument )??....my brother-in-law tells me I made need to add a proportioning valve...anyone else have input before I take my truck apart???Bueller?
