Thanks! Yeah, the casting says 44 on it, and the ratio tag still says 3.07. I didn't find a posi tag, so short of opening it up to check, I think it's open.

This is something I don't have the experience or precision to do myself, so I'm going to pay a transmission place to do it, but they all say "find the parts and we can do it."

It leaks from the pinion seal and the wheel bearings need changing. I think they will have to have it all apart to fix those two, and for the incremental cost it doesn't seem to make sense to put it back together with anything used. I'd like to get the equivalent of the "master rebuild kit" with pinion, carrier, and wheel bearings and seals.
