Default Rubber floor mat for 61 Suburban

I introduced my 1961 K1001 Suburban I inherited from my dad (the original owner) in general discussion. The rear mat is in good condition and I know I can get front mat, high hump, that is common with the pickup
What I don’t know is what to do with the area behind the front seat that’s the foot well for the second row seat. Right now it just metal, no covering, and I don’t remember growing up with the truck if there was every anything covering or it was that way since new.
So, what’s suppose to be there and has someone found a replacement If there is something to replace?

My '62 Suburban has a bare, painted steel floor between the first and second rows of seats like yours. I doubt that any of the Suburbans of this era had anything else there from the factory.
