|  Looking for Piston 
			
			OK Guys I have been looking for a piston that will fit inside the crank end of a 351 connecting rod, its 2.9", any one know what engines use a piston that is 2.9" Diameter?

			I'm not sure of your question as to why you want to put a piston thru the big hole in a rod, but.... I would try some outboard motor sizes, and briggs & stratton catalogs.

			Summit racing has 2 pistons 2.904" http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ue...75mm/overview/ They also have 2 that are 2.894" which is just under 2.9". http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ue...-5mm/overview/ One is out of a 1987 Toyota L4 4-cylinder 1.5 liter Not hard to find stuff, ya just gotta look.. 			PS: Just go to Summit Racing website, put in pistons, then bore size. It will give you a list of available pistons. When you click on check application, it will tell you what engine it fits.

			I found a piston I could use for this project, I needed to remove one rod bearing half to get it to fit. This is a 351C Piston & Rod with a Yamaha 750 Piston through the rod crank journal hole.  This will be a display for car & truck shows.

			Piston & Rod on the left are from a GMC Big Block V6 {351}, the Piston in the GMC rod is the size of many of the V6 engines in cars & Trucks today, {this one is really a Yamaha 660 Piston, it cost me $1 but its the size that counts here}. tH really small piston & Rod on the right is from a 3 cylinder Suzuki Mini Truck Engine.
