			Good day all,

This is my first post so i hope that this is not a repeat post. I'v got a 66 930 gmc and i was trying to come up with some ideas to paint on the door like an "pautsch and sons" idea. So i started looking around to get some ideas as to how to go about to design the style to keep a vintage look to it, and i'm not getting much luck. has anyone had this problem or does anyone have any ideas…right now anything would be great.. Thanks Justin |

"Classic Trucks" magazine (also available electronically) covers show and meets in almost every issue. There usually is a photo of someone's truck w/ signage you are looking for. Most theme themselves around towing, repair, service. But many good ideas if you browse.

Is that a door you have Barry? I hope it never gets painted! Be a great piece of shop wall art! I was a sign painter for a couple of decades but it was 80's and 90's different styles by that time and the computer was taking over. DAC

I don't plan on painting it. I actually pulled some doors out of the tin garage Saturday, a friend needs some glass for his 60 apache 10. He flipped when he saw the door. I wish I had the match still. This truck got parted out over 20 years back. And this is all I have of it. Wall art is in its future. BLC

Here is vinyl lettering added to my truck immediately after the restoration, advertising the dealership I once worked for. It has since been removed. You can also try this link to see some examples I collected prior to settling on a lettering design for the truck. http://tinyurl.com/ltpe45z

I bought a copy of Classic Vintage Airplane Nose Art from the WW2 and Korean era. I found one I will replicate on my dash when I get to that point.

			Also sorry if its overkill. I been away for a while and was missing my "old junky truck" fix so I got a little crazy. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and for fun.... ![]()
