I have a 1964 GMC with a V6 305E. I am looking for a clutch kit but the auto parts shows it to be a 12" clutch kit. The clutch I removed is an 11". Does anyone know where to find one. The 12" is too big. The one I bought at O'reilly auto part P.N. K1483-1 which I found when I goggled 11" clutch seems to have all the right dimension except the disc sit about 1/4" away from flywheel because it is sitting on top of center bore in flywheel. Any help?

The 12" clutch will work, but you need to get the right kit. You want the Rhinopac/AMS/New Generation 04-528 Clutch Kit. Check out this thread:
