how do I adjust a stretched out park brake cable? 1963 gmc 1500

There's an adjusting nut on the frame rale on some trucks, or a bolt attached to the cable under the firewall. You can tighten or loosen it from there.
If you mean just adjusting the brakes themselves, there's a star bolt in the brake assembly. Pull the drum off and it's easily seen at the bottom.
