Default V6 Emblem Colors
Does anyone have the correct red white and blue paint colors for the 65 GMC V6 emblem on the side of the hood? I need to refurbish mine. Thanks.

I just took this picture of my factory OEM chrome one for you. If you are painting them white, it replaces the chrome areas.

Thx, is that an earlier emblem than 65? My emblem has the V underneath and an oval with the 6 inside. Underneath the oval is a triangular shape with a rectangle pattern.

The trim, 6 and v are white, the squares in the v are blue
and area around the 6 is red

Guess I'll just go for and hope for the best. I can always paint them and then clean them off again if it doesn't come out well.
