Bumper and Frames
I've been looking for a thread that explains the changes in frames for 60-66.
I have a 62 K1000 Shortbed Stepside. Bought it without a front bumper so I'm shopping for a used. I understand there are differences in frames so not all bumpers are created equal. As a K1000 my truck has leafs at all corners - I'm not sure if that means the frame is the same as later years. Advice appreciated or direction to a thread that addresses this.

I believe you need a 60-62 front bumper. Other years bumpers/brackets could be modified.
