Pep is the most entertaining and the most eager guy here. But he needs help. So I am starting a thread about tools. Things I take for granted but I think are necessary for living with an old rig. I will add more but you all should to. Here is the first.

My favorite tool. The older I get the more it is necessary. Best 5 grand ever spent.

So, will this Bobcat reach up high enough to pull an engine out of a 1/2 to 1 ton pickup? thought about buying one of these instead of a typical farm tractor - so did you consider a tractor vs this Bobcat or was this a convenience purchase?

Yes it will. It will also load a tall 12 yard dump truck. The skidsteers are far more versital than a tractor. I am a contractor and grew up around all kinds of equipment. I can't rave enough about the versitily of these machines.

Thanks for the insight Barry - I will remember that when I get ready to make an investment in one of these vs a tractor. Check your email too - sent you a email about that White 55-59 GMC shift knob you were sending - haven't seen it so not sure if you sent it yet? Let me know...Thanks Steve
