Hello Everyone -
I just got done rebuilding my 305D v6 engine and put it into my truck. When I start it up, i'm getting about 20psi of oil pressure and when I rev the engine up it goes to 40ish psi. With the valve cover off i'm not getting much oil coming out of the Rocker Arm holes, I get a little bit when I rez the RPM's up.. How much oil should i be expecting to get into the top of the head? thanks, mark |

I don't get a ton of oil on the top end either. And I think that's normal. My 305E and my 292 6 cylinders are all that way. I think once the oil is thin and everything is hot you'll see more oil on top. That way for me anyhow.
