HEI Conversion
I am new to the 351E V6 world.. Thought I had plenty of knowledge on motors... but evidently not when I came across my newly purchased 1967 GMC Camper Cruiser with a 351E V6.
I am wanting to change to HEI... I read info on website, but need to get the drawings by Edwin Erlbacher. I have donated to site and also tried to leave an email about wanting this info. If anyone can let me know how to get these drawings... I would greatly appreciate it. Archie 561-899-0000 Cell

lots of guys have changed to HEI using (I think) a buick distributor from the 70s that is a direct drop-in or a Petronix adapter. I haven't done it (I'm too purist), but I hear it's easy peasy. MelMashman did this and a bunch of other members. Here's a thread about it

I believe Rod is the guy who makes the sleeves/bushings for this upgrade; here is another link. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for the info... but Rod is currently out of the Spacers.... so I am trying to locate drawings etc.... .
My ultimate plan is to make one for myself and have several others available already modified and ready to use.

As mentioned, looks like the conversion your doing is the buick v6 mod. I personally know nothing about it. The pertronix took me 5 minutes to do so I did it. haha

Thanks for all the responses.... great help..
I ended up ordering the one that Kchampagne gave me a link to. A little pricey, but it is already done and I don't need to spend time that my wife says I don't have.....
