I couldn’t find it in the service manual so I was hoping someone knew the order in which to tighten the main bolts when securing the crankshaft. Thanks

The same as with torquing cylinder heads, start with the center main first, and work your way to the ends of the crankshaft. I would torque a five main bearing crankshaft's bearings as follows; 5-3-1-2-4. Number 1 would be the center main bearing, followed by number 2, and so on. Hope this helps! |
