Okay- so I know this a probably an easy question for some of you but forgive me for not paying attention. I am re-assembling the valve trains on my 64 305E and (in my inattention) I did not note the orientation of the mounts. There is a notch cut into the support mounts where the tube runs through- does the notch go inboard or outboard? I just want to make sure before I torque everything down.
Thanks in advance. |

Thanks James-
That helps a bit. Although it does not show the slot on the mount. I did find a photo that showed the slot going toward the springs. Appreciate the help! |
