Just curious-
I am in the middle of disc brake conversion and although every spec I can find calls out 3/16 lines, mine of course has 1/4" lines on the front-which I pulled out and bought new to replace. Having to use adapters at the wheels and prop valve on the fronts. Is/was this normal? I can say I believe the old is all original as it looks the age (and was a B*&#tch to get out). Again, just curious if it came out of the factory that way. |

Drums will be 1/4" as the wheel cylinders require volume over pressure. Disks will be 3/16" as they need pressure over volume. I am currently running new lines on my 66 with 4 wheel disk conversion, lots of fun!
