Carb question
Which, if any, years/models of V-6 engines were factory equipped with a Rochester 2G carb? I'm asking because I saw one in a "for sale" pic and wondered if it was stock.

Re: Carb question
In 1967 some 305E engines got the Rochester 2G carb because Stromberg ww carbs were also used on Chrysler there was a shortage. If the V6 was factory equipped with the 2G carb it will only have a manual choke, so if you see one with an automatic choke it's not original to that engine. It's not uncommon to see GMC V6 engines with the 2G carb because they are a bolt on replacement and far more plentiful over the www carb.

That's what I was hoping to hear. Thank you for clearing up the mystery.
