Default Drillers Chuckwagon

As time allows, I'll add some cool history.
For the time being, however....
One of my many ailments....what they call ADD or ADHD nowadays...has caused me from time to time to design/build with limited $$$ and end up with stuff like my Barbeque.
After two years of hard thinkin and medium workin....here is the partly finished "Chuckwagon.
What we have here is now a viable candidate for a class 3 Food Cart (in my county, at least). (still working out the onboard water/sink deal)

I started with a trailer that I got free ...In its former life it was a Trade Show demonstrator for a company that sold solar hot water systems...and it came complete with a mock-up of the system....solar panel on the roof, heat exchangers....blah blah etc... They had the trailers made amd spent a pretty penny on them.
I proceded to strip the system...sold it to some nice folks....and it went from there.
Built my Traeger BBQ in...after whacking the legs and wheels off.
Installed a 110 volt Pizza oven,....did some stainless work....not done yet.
Then on the front port side....an Onan silent 4KW generator..
And then a large kitchen draft style exhaust system.
then on the front right I built an on-board fridge/freezer. About 18 cubic feet, I still need to make the shelves.
It sure keeps the beer at about 33 degrees.
The whole Idea behind it is ....
* The Generator will power the trailer at full load and have 30% left for extra lighting....or..? It also can be plugged into shore power (the house) like a motorhome. And I can switch it to feed my residential panel...for a little power during outages.
* It could be a food cart...
* It already is a b!tch!n tail-gater....
* It is the nucleus of a very plush hunting camp...
* A fella could cater with it...
but all it really is so far is a dang nice barbeque.

Here's a pic or two.

BTW.......The last picture is of my project for the day.....
Yep,....a couple 15 lb turkeys.
I have become a real fan of smoked turkey over the last few years. These are for tomorrow....They are best after they "rest" for a day, and can be reheated when you're ready.
The best turkey I've ever had.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

Rockdriller that is SO COOL! Now I'm wanting smoked turkey for thanksgiving. Too bad the wife is already brining ours for the oven.

Hope you have a good one!

Some people are like slinkys. Not worth much but funny as heck when pushed down stairs.

I can see why you are the center of the hunting camps! Very cool functional work. Great job. I can't hardly cook with a microwave so this is really over my head!---LOL
