GMC transmission 5 speed
I have a 1969 5500 GMC with this transmission in it and I can not find any info on it
anyone? |

It's a new process 540. Here is a fun fact the new process transmissions were made by mopar. Barry

GO is the overdrive, GD is a short fourth.

OK, posted pics of the 62 and 65 in an album labeled "BobS". There are also 2 66's, a 67, 3 68's and 2 72's. Probably time to thin the herd a little.
The 62 and 72 5500 (Toro-Flow) have NP-540GL's and I also have a 540GO to put in the 65. Free time with decent weather required. Seems I never have both at the same time. Bob Seifert West Central Minnesota |
