Default 702 v6???

Well, I have heard of a 702 V12, but cannot fathom why this weird emblem would say V6? Anyone ever seen one or know why it says 702 V6?

It's nothing that I am familiar with.

I would say that it is not a GM Emblem.

I have one of those. Someone gave it to me years ago, since they knew I was a V12 fan. I looked for a long time trying find out where it came from. Was looking at farm machinery ads, and Bingo, plain as day, found the answer.

I wonder how many others it left scratching their heads, and thinking, "I didn't know GMC had those. Where can I see one?".

I thought it might be fun if I stuck it on the '46 Chev pu I put the V12 in. I'll bet it would sure create a lot of questions, meet new people, and start a discussion.

I have fun when the museum I gave the '62 GMC 1ton has "Open House" day, People will ask about it, and I'll tell them tongue-in-cheek, "that was an option back then". I sure get some wild looks until I grin and 'fess up.
