Passinger Side Glass FINALLY finished
After attempting to use a new aftermarket window regulator and the door latch assembly, I finally gave up and pulled everything out again and replaced all the parts with older OEM parts. The main complaint is the splines on both the new regulator and latch assembly are NOT deep enough and SLIP big time no matter how much you tighten the set screw. Additionally, although the latch assembly looks and measures out the same, the spring that works the assembly is set (what I believe) incorrectly and does NOT disengage the latch.
I contacted RJ Sisneros in Crowley Colorado and purchased all the original OEM parts, he has some really great stuff. I’ve just about bought the whole truck from him over the years. One good thing is that I'm not an expert on installing all the door parts as I've don't it 3 times in the past two months..... |
