Re: Rocker Arms
Good used ones might be your best solution. I would also wonder what caused them to break.

Re: Rocker Arms
Thanks for that ebay link. I think I will go with that. As far as what caused them to crack I have no clue. I have only had this pickup for a few months and just now starting to dig into it. You know how it goes. It all starts with just pulling the valve covers off to clean and paint them to pulling heads and down the rabbit hole you go. I am not doing a rebuild or anything just a little cleaning and painting.

Re: Rocker Arms
While you have the rocker arm out of the way. Take a mallet and tap on the intake valves. The bent push rod and broken rocker arm might be from a stuck intake valve. This is sometime caused by running the engine on old gas. Once the engine cooled down the valves are stuck. Starting it again cause the damage.

Re: Rocker Arms
Ok will do. It still amazes me the lack of parts for the engines. I think they are pretty cool so I want to keep it as long as possible. Plus I can’t think of a easier motor to learn to work on
