Intake manifold conversion
I remember seeing a one time the conversion of the top of a 305 E to a 4BBL. Does anyone remember seeing this article & where.

Re: Intake manifold conversion
Pete Chronis and I have modified Magnum manifolds to accept a 4 BBL carb. Perhaps that's what you're remembering? That's a much simpler conversion than doing it to a non-Magnum manifold.

Re: Intake manifold conversion
You would need the Magnum heads and exhaust manifolds too, John, if you wanted to put a Magnum intake on a 305. Might as well just look for a 351E!

Re: Intake manifold conversion
THANKS, Ill have to see if I want to make that change. If The exhaust manifolds are that different, then I'll stick with what I have. I am almost finished making headers with one side done and the other needing to build 3 more pipes on the drivers side. Appreciate the info.
